While she didn't have too much interest in his home if she's honest with herself (She's much too self centered to honestly care about anyone else's home) but something he says catches her attention and she pauses to consider it.

"You'll pardon me for asking, but my world is not as advanced in some areas of science. Do you mean that some people from your world gain powers like yours by birth? From their parents?
