Jaune does turn suddenly, but doesn't swing his sword. He's been through enough to tell an enemy from an ally, and since the enemy is zombies and this guy doesn't look dead, Jaune assumes he's safe.

"K-kinda new on me to," Jaune says, through nervous laughter. His usual enemies involved mosters drawn by fear and other negative emotions. And they were usually a lot bigger to. But faced with Zombies, was it possible to miss the creatures of Grimm? Jaune wasn't sure if he wanted an answer. He takes a breath, trying to steady himself.

Tactics, Jaune, tactics.

"Bottleneck and slowing them down is good. We're at a place where we can keep them from swarming us but it's still going to be tough. You can keep an eye up from above right? Got anything else?"

X-ray laser blasts? Slow-mo hands? He's got an X-Ray and Vav look going after all.
