Most Legion missions have at least some basic info that goes public, unless it was something top secret hush hush. The UP government already released a press release about the mission with some basics and hints at the rest.

It sounds to me like they're just pointing out some of you are upset and sharing some of the info that's supposed to be publicly available anyway.
