Honestly? Some of the people from the past have run into some weird things that we'll probably never end up addressing. It's largely cultural stuff. It's so weird to me when I skim through and see people arguing about anything that isn't heterosexual being unnatural, or that someone's supposed to be inferior due to their religion or skin color.

It's not even interspecies stuff, like what the Durlans deal with. Humans against humans because one of them came from another continent, goes to a different church, or loves the wrong gender.

I don't bother passing most of that on. It's just too hard to believe in this day and age.
