[Of late, Cullen Row had gotten too comfortable inside the protective cocoon that his sister Harper had built for him. He appreciated it, of course. She did it to keep him safe, to protect him. The world was a dark place, and it was getting increasingly darker. But the fact of the matter was that Cullen couldn't stay locked up inside their apartment in the narrows forever, watching Supernatural, bingeing on Chinese takeout, reading the society pages for news on Tim Drake, with only the odd texts from Stephanie Brown for some human contact. Even the Midnighter had disappeared on Cullen, not that Cullen had hung out with him much in the first place.
But finding himself here was...unexpected. A surprise. A cruise ship in space? Last he'd noticed, the skies over Gotham City hadn't turned a bright, angry red. That didn't mean there wasn't cause for worry, though. The ship was called the Titanic II, and everyone knew that sequels were almost always more disastrous than the originals. He hoped that wasn't going to be the case here.
Cullen pushed past a few people crowding him, trying to find someone - anyone - that he knew.]
Harper? Steph? Is there...no?
[No one looked familiar to Cullen. Not yet. He sighed and paused when he came to the giant window and looked - really looked. 'Beautiful' didn't do the view justice. For a moment, he lost himself in the beauty of it all. Never in any of his visits to the Gotham Observatory had he imagined that space would look like this.]
Guh. Whoa.
B.
[An arm full of fish? Check. Transuit? Check. Feeding frenzy? Not yet, but that doesn't mean that Cullen's not working on it.
He's actually floating in the middle of space, tossing the fish in the way of a few specific dolphin. Distract a few of them, get the others curious, and then maybe a frenzy can start, right?]
It's not as fun as SeaWorld makes it look.
[Granted, the dolphins at SeaWorld aren't actively trying to kill them.]
C.
[Mob mentality. It's never good. Cullen's been a resident of Gotham City all his life, and he's seen the harm they can do. People panicking for one reason or another, trampling over everyone. It does more harm than good - more people get out scathed than otherwise.]
Guys, we have to do that whole field trip thing! Come on, single file line, hands to yourself, you know how it - hey! Stop trampling people! This isn't - we have lifepods! No one's getting diCaprio-ed over here.
[He presses himself against a wall as someone pushes past him as though he isn't even there. This, this is why he was never a hall monitor back at school. Well, this, and the fact that he generally tends to be bullied back home. Cullen goes to move again to try to help crow control when something detaches itself from the ceiling and falls in front of Cullen. He screams, though the noise that erupts from his mouth isn't...quite a scream. It's melodic. Almost song-like. And it momentarily calms the people around him before his scream is cut short. Soon enough, they're back to normal.]

Wait, what the hell?
[Was that his new power just kicking in?]
