Once Tex learns of the sonar device, she's insistent on planting the device—alone. Being in a robot body means she has advantages others can't possibly compete with. She knows more than anyone how important it is to stick with one's team, but she's been sent in as a lone wolf many times and knows she has what it takes to complete the mission.
Unfortunately for everyone else, they just can't seem to fathom why she's so insistent. They won't let her go on without arguing the point enough that she gives in, despite the danger to the other team members. It aggravates her—how can she take care of the objective while ensuring everyone else's safety? She can't. So she makes a point of telling those who are heading off with her that they need to watch their own backs and be prepared for anything.
Soon enough, they're wending their way through the tunnels, and Tex is carrying the device. "Watch it!" she hissed when the pointman causes something to fall. They can't afford too many of those kinds of mistakes.
SCENARIO E: PISS OFF SPACE PETA
Once again, Tex is one of the first to volunteer when it comes to the need to fight the dolphin-like creatures. She exits the ship, keeping close to the hull by using her mag boots. Soon enough she's right in the fray, punching the aliens in their vulnerable spots, keeping half an eye out for those with her in case they end up needing her protection as well. Eventually it seems inevitable when someone ends up in distress, and she rushes in, pounding her feet against the hull and performing what would, on a human, be a suplex. (With a space dolphin it's more of a wild throw over her head.)
"You okay?" she asks her team member after the rescue.
