storytime (because that's how Paperboy would want it)

My great-grandbroodmaster was not doing well a few cycles ago and I was feeling really down about it, kinda got a little overheated while I was supposed to be swabbing the obs deck and Paperboy was playing his stringy whatever by the viewing deck. I figured he wouldn't notice but he came over and asked if I was ok. I don't like talking about my feelings so I said I was fine, he asked if I wouldn't mind listening to a new story he was working on, told me this stupidly cute story about a dragon that couldn't fly until it took a pearl off its head or whatever, made his papers act it out. I don't know, it was just disarming and distracting and it was really cute so I did tell him about Gabboos, he vanished for like five minutes and came back with riceballs and candied peppers for me, asked me what Gabboos favorite thing was and made me a paper combustion engine to give her. Now every time I pass him in the hall he stops and asks how Gabboos is and makes me another paper thing for her. I can't with this kid. He's too cute to have a cool eyepatch and a ponytail. People are gonna get the wrong idea.
