"Got it," Jason replies. He had no idea if he can trust this being or not, but it's too late to back out. Jason just hopes the guy isn't lying about being able to operate this vehicle. He can keep them off, but if they can't drive without crashing it's going to be pointless.

Jason isn't about to risk falling off though and grabs on to what's available on a vehicle like this. However, even with the warning he's not quite prepared for the take off that occurs. Jason yelps in surprise and tightens his grip. Luckily the vortex he created doesn't depend on him concentrating on it because all he can do for a few minutes is try not to let go. However, he didn't come along just to ride -- he's supposed to help. He decides he'll probably need to stick to air blasts because there is no way he'll be able to aim lightning at the speeds they are going. As they pass the other bandits, a few shots are fired their way, but because the vortex catches them so fast the shots are erratic and completely miss.
