To be fair, he didn't want that to happen either. If it started rampaging instead of going down, then he'd put it out of its misery. He'd slain plenty of monsters that it wasn't like he had qualms against killing things like that. He may have forsaken his Roman roots, but he had still been raised by Lupa and the Legion to not pity the weak. It was the strong that survived.

The creature was clearly trying to stay aloft and find them, but it was having a hard time since it could no longer see. It dipped a little too low and its large wings scraped the side of one of the bigger buildings -- a museum maybe? The dinosaur yelped in surprise at the sudden contact and jerked back. The sudden move threw off it's flight path entirely and suddenly it was crashing and it's large body was coming right for them as it skidded down the path.

Jason shouted, "Move!" If the girl wasn't fast enough he'd grab her and fly out of the way, but he'd give her a split second to get out of the way herself before the creature could take them both out in its flailing crash.
