Bad news, people could see him. And those guys in white armor were literally gunning for him. Jack flew through the city he was in, weaving around buildings, homes, anything to try and lose the them. They were everywhere! If they weren't chasing him in some kind of ship, they were on the ground shooting energy blasts at him. Although, he had to say, they were lousy shots. A few snowballs to the face knocked them clean off their feet, a blast of ice energy over there, and he was through another throng of them.
He was getting tired, though. He made be a child of winter, but he didn't have infinite energy. Manny wasn't around, the moon here a lot different, and the others were also gone. Which made sense given he was clearly not on Earth. The question remained, however. Just where was he?!
His bare feet smacked the top of the roof he'd landed on, rolling to absorb the impact and quickly ducking through an open window. It was abandoned and it allowed Jack to finally lean against the wall, breathing heavily and holding his staff close. He slid to the ground. What had he gotten himself into now?
